What is a gearbox

A gearbox also known as a speed reducer or a gear reducer. 

It can be added onto a motor in order to slow down the motor speed, on the other hand, to get a higher torque value. As we know, for a motor, when the speed is lower, the larger size the motor will be, and when the motor size is large, the cost will surely be expensive. However, when the frame of the motor become larger, maybe it can not suitable for the space of the workplace. Hence we need a gearbox to do this job, ensure the frame size will not change while to get a higher torque value. 

Volcano motor can provide planetary type, right angle worm and right angle planetary type gearbox. Different application need different gearbox type.
