Product Description
Nema 17 frame stepper motor model 35VOL28-0504A. Motor length 28mm, 4 leads (in black, green, red and blue color) rated voltage 10V, 0.5A holding torque value 1000 g.cm. Stepper angle of this motor is 1.8°. A motor provide full circle of 360° and it will divided by 200 steps in total while the step angle is 1.8°and this is a very common size rating, most stepper motor come with even larger step angle, like 3.6°, equal to 100 steps in total, for some application require higher precision, the step angle will required to be geared down to like 0.9°, and the max speed for the motor may also be lower value.
Frame of this motor is Nema 17 as standard, Nema frame is standardized by US national electrical manufactuers association. It defined the front face of the motor size, but not strictly on the length of a stepper motor, and for Nema 23 or Nema 24 frame stepper, they are similar size, as 23 stands for 2.3x2.3 inches and Nema 24 for 2.4x2.4 inches.
