Product Description
Stepper motor model 42VOL40M-1684A in length of 40mm, provide 3300g.cm holding torque with 4 leads in different color for the easily manual operation. The motor work under 2.8V with rated current 1.68A, total weight of this motor only 0.28kgs. And this model stepper motor is in square shape.
Holding torque is sum of torque needed to push the stepper motor move a full step forward in the case while the winding is energized and the rotor is stay stationary condition. And the holding toque is in higher value than the detent torque, because, the motor move steps forward when holding torque need to work against the detent torque. Theoretically speaking, a stepper motor’s holding torque value is 2 time more than the detent torque value. Compared with serve motor and stepper motor at lower speeds on the same size, a stepper motor gives higher torque than the serve motor.
